Numazu Port Large Observation Gate View-O
This is one of the largest floodgates in Japan, built to protect citizens from tsunamis. Normally it serves as an observation facility. It is a recommended viewing spot where you can see both Numazu Port and Mt. Fuji.

This state-of-the-art two-story fish market allows visitors to get a close-up look at the fish auction from the observation deck on the second floor. Auction tours led by expert guides are also held once a month.

Numazu Deep Sea Aquarium Coelacanth Museum
The first of its kind in Japan! This is an aquarium themed on deep-sea creatures, and a museum where you can see frozen specimens of the mythical ancient fish "coelacanth." Deep-sea goods are very popular in the souvenir corner of the aquarium.

Mitsu Sea Paradise
About 20 minutes by car from Numazu city. This is a long-established aquarium that was the first in Japan to raise walruses and sea otters. The extremely popular dolphin show allows you to enjoy the humorous and speedy performances of the dolphins.

Awashima Marine Park
This is an uninhabited island aquarium with a view of Mt. Fuji. From the ticket booth, take a boat for about 3 minutes to Awashima. In the aquarium surrounded by nature, the creatures also show off their best performances.

Numazu Imperial Villa Memorial Park
